BIOGRAPHY

Dave Powell is a multi-instrumentalist who resides in Toronto, Canada.  He's travelled the world performing and has won many prestigious awards, including the Oscar Peterson Award for Jazz Piano and the Olive Lower Prize for Jazz Piano.  Dave has worked a sideman and as a leader on many projects and has released solo material as well including the album Happenstance in 2013.  Dave is currently recording a solo piano album, composing commercially and teaching music to young and old alike.
